Dragons Fly High – Dragonfly AHSAA Roster Book Review

In Dragonfly AHSAA Roster, the third book of the series featuring the adventures of a teenage girl in the magical land of Aesma comes another exciting installment – Dragons Fly High! I’m not normally a huge fan of fantasy novels, but this one definitely kept me reading through to the end. This book has a very engaging plot and did make me crave for another book in the series. In fact, I started reading it just so I could get an update on how their story is unfolding, and I was not disappointed. The plot is very interesting, and there are many different elements to it that kept me very interested throughout the entire novel.

In addition, the story is filled with colorful detailed illustrations – both indoors and outdoors, which really added to the narrative flow. The book is also full of characters that were very unique, especially compared to other books with dragons. For instance, there were very few female dragons – and only one male – which added to the realism. I especially liked the interaction between Tiamat and Diara. Their relationship, while not explored at great depth, made their bond even more powerful than it probably should have been. I especially enjoyed the little details that were sprinkled throughout the book, including some of the back stories about each of the main characters.

Overall, Dragons fly high, and it’s easily one of the best books in the Dragonfly AHSAA Roster series. The story was very engaging, funny, and unique in every way. I would definitely recommend picking up Dragonfly AHSAA Roster: Dragons Never Cry to learn more about this fantastic world that is filled with magic and fantasy. It’s perfect for fans of the book and those who haven’t read the first two books in the series. If you love fantasy, science fiction, and animals, this is a book you’ll absolutely want to check out. It’s well worth the money and well worth the time.
