Can Adult Dragonflies Kill Themselves?
Some say that dragonflies kill themselves. Well, I say that it’s more like mosquitoes, they do it to get rid of parasites, but the point I’m trying to make is, you don’t want to try to kill yourself. If you do, you’ll probably end up with an infection worse than you started with. Parasites are the number one reason people end up with back pain.
Some people have said that if we kill off all the adult dragonflies then there won’t be as many new ones in the winter. Well, if that’s the case, you’re actually killing two birds with one stone. You’ll just have to deal with the eggs, which could be even worse than the pain you’re already dealing with.
If you’re trying to get rid of adult dragonflies, the best way to go about it is to try and avoid them. There are a lot of great products on the market for treating bedbugs and getting rid of fleas, and some of them are very effective. Some of them come in really handy when dealing with a few adult dragonflies. The best part about it is that they’re usually topical applications so you won’t have to worry about killing them or anything.
